Course information
Curator Ingest and Search is a training unit usually delivered as part of a longer course that also includes Curator Configuration and optionally a combination of Curator Logging, Curator Edit and Publish, and Curator Archive.
IPV training personnel deliver these training units at locations across the UK and North America. We can also deliver this event at or in close proximity to your organization if this is required.
Course aims
To provide Administrative and Standard users with the knowledge to register new content into a Curator System and then search for it in the Curator Applications.
By the end of the course, attendees will:
- Understand how to ingest content into Curator via Watchfolder and the Register Assets methods
- Understand how to use the Curator Clip Link Web Application
- Understand how to use the Curator Clip Select Web Application

- Search in Clip Link by child and parent metadata.
- Use Clip Link to update/add metadata to Curator assets
- Search for assets in Clip Select.
