Curator’s Edit and Publish Functionality Module brings many benefits to the editing and production process. You can use Curator’s powerful search to find content without having to open any file browsers. Content can be imported directly into your bin either as an efficient, frame-accurate proxy, a mezzanine file, or the original hi-res. This capability is also available live, while the content is being captured.
When working with projects you no longer have to search through folder systems and rely on just project names to find the project you need, Curator tags each project with metadata describing its purpose, creation date, and the final publishing destination. Additionally, Curator automatically saves each project version so you can see exactly who has worked on a project.
When it comes to publishing your masterpiece, Curator’s remote conform engine conforms your project without tying up your edit bay, making conforms quicker and allowing you to move onto the next project instantly.
Curator’s Edit and Publish Functionality Module is further enhanced when coupled with the Logging Functionality Module, this gives editors access to markers as soon as they are added by a Logger. Additionally, when coupled with the Archive Functionality Module whole projects can be archived including all of the content used in them, this eliminates the risk of archiving content without fully knowing which projects are reliant on it.
