1. Confirm the MAC address of each server where you’ll be using the licence.

We advise you to navigate to localhost:11125 via a browser on the server(s) where Licence Manager & IPV XCode/Process Engine are installed and validate the MAC address from there.

2. Once you have validated the MAC addresses:  Download the Licence(s) and copy them across to the relevant server(s).

3. Rename each of the files to Licences.xml.

The license which you were provided will contain your MAC address within it, that must be removed as per the screenshot above & the file has to be in an XML format.

4. Copy-paste the Licences from your Desktop to the Licence Manager installation directory. Make sure to replace the current licences.xml file with the renewed one in the directory if the file already exists.

Default directory:

C:\Program Files\IPV\Licence Manager

5. Restart the IPV Licence Manager & the corresponding IPV micro services which are licenced. 

Restarting the services is mandatory for them to pick-up the renewed Licence. Restart the services above on whichever server you’re applying the Licence(s) only!

6. Validate that the Licence is working by browsing to localhost:11125 on the server running Licence Manager.
