Issue:

RAM usage may spike when using the IIS Worker Process, causing webpages to be so slow they are unusable. This may make it difficult to stream proxies, for example, or to manage large numbers of files.

Solution:

We recommend lowering the recycle interval on the app pool. 

To do this, In IIS manager, select Application Pools from the Connections menu (left-hand side). Select the pool that was created for Curator Gateway from the central list and select Advanced Settings... from the Actions > Edit Application Pool menu (right-hand side). From the pop-up, scroll down to Recycling and replace the value for Regular Time Interval (minutes) with 1200. An example is shown below:
