Prerequisite |
In order to work with Curator the server hosting Adobe Media Encoder detailed on this page needs the Curator for Adobe plug-in installed. |
Download Adobe Creative Cloud |
Login and download the Creative Cloud installer from Adobe's website. Make sure to login before attempting to download. |
Install Premiere Pro |
Once installed download "Premiere Pro CC" from the "Apps" tab in Creative Cloud. "Adobe Media Encoder" should be downloaded alongside, if this does not automatically install, ensure to download it as well separately. The following should be installed when complete: |
Open a Command Prompt Window |
Open a cmd window: |
Change directory to the AME Folder |
Change the root directory to where Adobe has been installed: cd "%INSTALL_PATH%"\Program Files\Adobe\ Then enter "cd", space and then press Tab until "Adobe Media Encoder XXXX" appears, or enter the following with the correct version of AME: cd "Adobe Media Encoder CC XXXX" |
Install Service |
Once in the AME folder run the following line: AMEWinService.exe -install Upon success, the following should appear: |
Start AME Service |
Start the AME service in the windows Services panel, change the Startup type and service user as appropriate: |
