This failure can occur when AME tries to encode a file which uses a Dolby codec. Adobe no longer support decoding and encoiding of Dolby Digital and Dolby Digital Plus - Source

If the file is not using a Dolby codec, the failure can be due to GPU acceleration. Try disabling this on the device running AME and trying the transcode again.
