Browse to Adoptiums website and download an MSI installer. The rise in the number of builds shown if a Windows MSI option is not shown. Find a JRE version (JDK versions will require manual registry changes, JRE will not), make sure to download the MSI and not the zip:

Browse to Adoptiums website, select version 8 from dropdown menu as shown above and download an MSI installer. Find a JRE version (JDK versions will require manual registry changes, JRE will not), make sure to download the MSI and not the zip. |

| Enable "Set JAVA_HOME" and Registry Changes |
Enable "Set JAVA_HOME variable" and "JavaSoft (Oracle) registry keys" then select 'next':
